He went from a skinny freshman point guard to one of the country’s most dominant power forwards and best high school players in the nation. As you can see, Zion was a dominant high school player from the get-go, averaging 24.4 points and 9.4 rebounds. That was a breakout year that coincided wit Zion’s physical growth when he grew six inches after eighth grade going from a 5-9 point guard to 6-3 forward.
